Beautiful abaya. It fits so well.

I am always looking for a long abaya as I’m 5’9” tall. I always buy butterfly cut since I am a large hijabi and usually wear a 3xl/4xl in US sizes. This abaya fits beautifully!! It’s modest and wide and doesn’t float at my ankles. When I wear flat sandals it’s almost too long but with my sneakers it’s absolutely perfect, MashaAllah. The sleeves are more of a cotton fabric which makes wudu easy, yet didn’t shrink in the wash. Never disappointed with Bazar Al Haya, from the khimars and now the abayas. I have the same one in the emerald and it’s also gorgeous.

This is sooooo worth it ! They are correct, it is a typical farasha sort of one size fits all. I am 5ft 2 and I am 226. I chose the medium based on the chubby body in the chart which made me giggle. Without shoes it touches the ground maybe an inch longer than my feet. However in shoes it will come to the bottom of your shoe or higher. I probably could have chosen small if it is just a touch shorter. I still may have to hem these . I thought better safe than sorry so I didn't have to return. However you probably could choose small even if you are over weight because it really is very large and spacious .I'm large chested and shaped like an apple as well and still swim in this. When I was looking to purchase I had hoped someone with a similar body would review so I knew if I could pull it off but hadn't seen any. So I wanted to make sure I did! Fabric is sooooo soft and silky but it's not silk per say. This will be amazing in summer ! I always suffer in heat but this year will be like wearing a cold sheet I think. Soooo nice. Sleeves are awesome because they have a stretchy fitting end to them so the fabric doesn't slide down over your hands and sort of disable you as some dresses do. So you don't have to keep adjusting. You don't see this fabric in most online stores. They stick to the crepe style which is very hot and too light it flies up and over in wind. This isn't heavy but I don't have fear it will fly up. A nice balance. The price with this material beats even one particular store online which I won't name but is more than $80 and I now can compare that the material they use is not superior to this one . Theirs absorbs smells , you open the closet to find it absorbed something you cooked a few rooms away, sizing for height not so accurate and around shoulders was very tight even upon choosing a plus size. So you always felt it would rip open. This is another reason I chose farasha. In case shoulder area was made smaller . I learned my lesson buying what I thought was my measure and it come much smaller. So this chart used here is very reliable. I got 2 for the price I'd pay just 1 on other sites and the quality is superior 100X . Very very happy and won't buy from anyone else but Bazar haya from now on.

Great abaya. I ordered the navy blue one before. This one is better quality but seems a bit longer. Next time I'll size down.
